Off to the Opera!

Many moons ago I was a production manager for some fairly fabulous fashion houses in London - Bruce Oldfield Ltd and Anouska Hempel Couture and in the evening's I worked as a dresser for the Royal Opera House because I simply loved costume and stage.

Therefore I was delighted when one of our trims - a gorgeous black Solstiss Lace with black jet beading headed off to a German costume company to be included on the costume of Princess Eboli in The Metropolitan Opera's production of Don Carlo. I think it would look perfect as a cushion trim as well!
